Questions

Is this the official exam?

No. State language exams are organised by the National Education Agency (NŠA). This is an independent practice tool, not affiliated with NŠA.

Are there free official sample tests?

Yes. NŠA publishes a sample test online, and it’s worth doing. Our practice exams add more full tests, explanations in your language and a layout made for phones.

Who needs the A1 certificate?

Since 1 January 2026, foreigners who sell goods or provide services in Lithuania must serve customers in Lithuanian at least at A1 level. After two years of residence, A2 is required. People with temporary protection status are currently exempt. If you’re not sure, ask your employer.

Do I pay anything now?

No. Joining the list is free and doesn’t commit you to anything.

When will it be ready?

We plan to launch in December 2026. People on the list hear first.
